CONTOUR SURVEY AT KHODAL DHAM
Recently Department of Civil had organised a visit at Khodal dham for the purpose to give the knowledge about How the contour Survey is to be carried out on the field. Students of 4th Semester learnt about different types of survey & got the information about the methods of survey & their practical use on the site which is very useful for their subjective study.
A VISIT TO SARDAR SAROVAR DAM
Civil engineering Department had organized the visit of Sardar Sarovar dam, near Navagam on 23rd September 2017 for students of 5th semester. From this visit students got the information and knowledge about the components of dam, hydro-power plant and its construction.
A VISIT AT CASTING OF RCC SLAB
On 24 th July 2017, Students of civil department visited the site where casting of R.C.C. Slab was running to understand the drawing related construction,production of concrete, arrangement of reinforcement, leveling of slab, and compaction of concrete, concrete work and reinforcement detailing drawing.
CONTOUR SURVEY
Recently on 6th march 2017 civil department have arranged a practical survey at Hadmatiya for 4th semester students near about 35 students for learning a drawing of sections, determination of inter-visibility between two points, tracing of contour gradients, location of route, measurement of drainage area and calculation of reservoir capacity. After the survey, students make the contour map on sheet using reading of different angle & R.L. of different points which was taken on field.
A VISIT TO MOJ DAM & CANAL
A dam visit was arranged for diploma 4th sem students to explain the Various parts of the dam such as water controlling gate,spillway water collection and flowing system etc. From this visit, Students got the information and knowledge about the Moj dam and its construction. They got very clear idea about the importance of dam and component.
