Eco-Friendly Ganesha Festivals 2018

we also arranged Ganesha Festivals Function for Engineering students and staff members named Ganesha Festivals-2018 from 13th September, 2018 to 15th September, 2018 at OM Engineering College, Junagadh. This year students of OM family have done Eco-Friendly Ganesha Sthapan. And it was buried in campus only with the Plant so that it will be a tree and environment will be benefited.

Blood Donation Camp And Thalassemia Testing Camp

As we know that blood donation can save many lives so that we arranged a Blood Donation Camp and thalessemia test camp on 13th September 2018 Every students & faculties gave their contribution as per their will.

Celebrated 72nd Independence Day

Om Education Campus celebrated 72nd Independence Day and remembered the sacrifice of the freedom fighter with gratitude. The celebration began in the college premises with the unfurling of the National flag followed by a speech with patriotic zeal and fervor by the Police Inspector Mr. D. D. Bhatt. Mr. Vijaybhai Madhak (Advocate High Court and Lecturer at police training center Junagadh) and Mr. Fulabhai Bambhroliya (Subedar Retired Armyman) was also invited as a guest at Om Education Campus. On this occasion, students gave their excellent performance in parade, drama, dance, freedom songs, Independence Day motivational speeches. This was followed by a pledge to make India clean and free from the problems of poverty, corruption, terrorism and caste-ism from the country in upcoming years. A few students also presented their performance on painting and handmade poster presentation at OM Education Campus.

Yoga Day 2k18

OM Campus is one of the prominent campus at the Junagadh district where so many events take place to inculcate interdisciplinary knowledge in students. Recently Om campus has celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21 st June,2018 Thursday. It was organized for all students of campus, they participated enthusiastically into the program. The program was started around 10:30am, Dr. Dipali Agravat has delivered an inauguration speech and welcomed the Chief Guest of the program and yoga teacher Mr. Karan Vikama, a very well-known yoga teacher and member of the 'Art of Living' organization and also an international gold medallist of the region of Junagadh district. Mr Karan Vikama had delivered a speech on International Yoga Day. After the Chief Guest's speech, the program was continued till the afternoon in which the different types of Meditation and Asana were performed by the yoga teacher and students.

7th Mega Placement Drive

Placement drives form an integral part of every institute as it endows the opportunities to the students to get employment in the wellknow and esteemed organizations. The 7th time in this region our institute witnessed a great placement session on 13th June & 14th June 2018 Mega placement drive.More than 400 students & Total 31 Companies are participated in 7th Mega Placement Drive 2018 and from Mechanical,Chemical,Electrical,Computer & Civil Branch more than 200 students are shortlisted.

Open Source Technology Club (OSTC) Workshop

Gujarat Technological University has introduced Open Source Technology Club initiative for all the GTU affiliated colleges in collaboration with Spoken Tutorial Project-IIT Bombay. To take the benefit of this opportunity we at Om engineering college, Junagadh has established Open Source Technologies Club (OSTC) at our institute. Three OSTC workshop on LaTeX is organized by Prof. V.G.Bagiya for 4th and 6th semester degree engineering students of Computer, Electrical, Civil, Chemical and Mechanical Department.
