  • Offer employable skills for dropout, ITI holders, Diploma & Degree holders.
  • Promote relations between the training centre and employers through programmes of placing trainees in industries.
  • Co-operate with other training centres locally and internationally in order to exchange ideas on improving training standards and developing skills.
  • Upgrade the knowledge, skill and abilities of trainees by adopting innovative training system "Learning by doing and doing while learning"
  • Maintaining the desired quoality standards of training system, benchmarked with the international standards to insure "day 1 produtive" in today's compititive human performance system.
  • Initiate the activities to spread its wings in a area of CAD/CAM/CAE right upto the grass route level and will head towards revolution from conventional to the latest innovative EDGE technologies.
  • Ensure continuos upgradation and capacity building of trainers to nourish the ethical, spiritual and professional development of human resourse.

NEED for OCRI

  • Unemployability of the "Educated" The educated without professional skills constitute 69% of the total unemployed in INDIA
  • Roughly 509 million workers currently employed in India, only 12% are skilled.
  • As per NSSO survey, large number of workers (around 30%) are living below the poverty line.

Provision of appropriate skills is important to increase the employment prospects and productivity of this workforce.
