This Workshop was delievered by expert Mr. Chirag savaliyasir Automation Engineer in Amneal Pharmaceuticals, New Jersey, USA. Our main purpose for this webinar is to be familiar with industrial environment and to get practical knowledge of electrical automation control. Students of 7th semester got idea of various instrument which is used in industries, and also chance to see live demonstration of that equipment’s. Students also got familiar with sensor, transmitter, actuator, controller & PLC.

Webinar on Study of 66kV Substation, DHASA
Department of ELECTRICAL engineering had organized skill development webinar on 66kV Substation, DHASA for the students of degree and diploma. An electrical substation is a subsidiary station of an electricity generation, transmission and distribution system where voltage is transformed from high to low or the reverse using transformers. From this Webinar, Students got the information and practical knowledge about Power Distribution and Transmission, different protection devices used in substation, how to read the one line diagram and etc.
DESIGN THINKING
Institution’s Innovation Council from OM Engineering College arranged a Seminar on Design thinking dated 28th December, 2019. Speaker of the Seminar, Mr. Parth Sejpal who is an Assistant Professor & Design Engineering Coordinator (Rajkot Zone) at GTU. Expert rendered his expertise to all approaches to design thinking. Approximately 130 students were attending the seminar. In this seminar students have benefited the basic knowledge of Design Thinking process and also learn various approaches. Students were benefited a lot from this seminar
