Expert Talk on Wastewater Treatment and Recycling
Recently Department of civil engineering had organized the one day expert talk on "Wastewater Treatment and Recycling" by expert Dr. M.J.Gundaliya from Chhotubhai Gopalbhai Patel Institute of Technology for the 5th Semester students. Main purpose for organizing this seminar was to give the knowledge to students about waste water, importance of waste water treatments, its different methods and how to reduce the water pollution.
An EXPERT TALK ON DESIGN THINKING
Om engineering college, department of civil engineering had organized the one day expert talk for DESIGN THINKING by expert Prof. Parth Sejpal from GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY and gave the knowledge to the students about importance of development of Design Canvas. Main purpose for organizing this seminar is to gain knowledge about prepare design canvas , its efficient use and about design engineering.
Expert Talk On "MODERN IRRIGATION TECHNIQUES"
On 24th August 2018, Department of Civil Organized an Expert talk on "MODERN IRRIGATION TECHNIQUES" by expert Dr. MANOJ GUNDALIA for the students of 5th and 7th Semester degree. Gundaliya Sir first explain to students about the importance of irrigation methods and gave the introduction, techniques, design of modern of irrigation. From this expert talk students got the clear idea about the different methods of modern irrigation and also got the subjective knowledge.
An application of different Software in Civil Engineering Field
Few years before nearly it took 1-2 years to build a building but now a days it will be completing in 6-9 months by using the software's. What our aim is to introduce all software's in education system and also full of implementation in our practical field, So we decided to organise the one day workshop on "An application of different Software in Civil Engineering Field" at Om engineering college. Mr. Vaibhav Choksi the director of CADD Ce center, has conducted the one day sessions and gave basic introduction of different softwares like AUTO-CAD, STAAD-PRO, ETABS, 3DS-MAX, REVIT ARCHI, REVITMEP, ARCHI CAD, to students.
TENDERING & VALUATION
Department of civil engineering had organized the one day expert talk for "Tendering & Valuation" on 29th february 2016 by expert Mr.J.J.Kadivar , 25 years experienced in the Road & Building department of Gujarat. The expert gave the guidance to 62 students of 6th & 8th semester about the importance of estimation, contract & procedure to fill the tender which is helpful after completion of their graduation.
