Techno Quiz
Techno Quiz was technical Quiz competition for Students of Bachelors of Engineering and Diploma Civil Engineering Students. Objective of Event was to develop student’s technical knowledge in field of Civil Engineering. This type of event encourage the students to develop their technical knowledge in field of Civil Engineering. After participating in this event students improved their knowledge in various field as Surveying, Building construction, Town planning, Structure analysis and Design, Fluid mechanics etc.
STRAW CONS
Civil engineering department has organized technical event STRAW CONS in SPECTROM 2017. The main objective of the event was working as engineering teams, students design and create model structure using plastic drinking straws and tape as their construction materials. During event all the students have made different types of structure of straw with different truss design with their design concepts & ideas.
DEZIRE VILLA
Dzire Willa was on the spot event in which student have to prepare a plan and model of general G+1 Residential building with best aesthetic view. General material such as Hard base sheet,Thermo col Sheet, Side Wall Material, Fevicol, Pins, Cutter etc, provided to students.There was single round for the participants and the winner was chosen from them based on the aesthetic view of model.
VALLINK
Civil engineering department has organized technical event VALLINK in SPECTROM 2k17 for student to make a bridge. Their goal is to make the best model of bridge of as per rules and regulation of their own model using candy sticks & favicoal while meeting the design criteria and constrain.
CAD CRACKER
A technical event Cad Cracker was organized by Civil engineering department of OIET in SPECTROM 2016.The task of event was to create the plan and elevation of building in Autocad.From the event students were able to create building design.
