Mafia
Mafia is the event of air gun. Main objective of this event is measure the concentration power of the students and how students are making the air gun from waste material. In this event the air gun is fired from specified distance (25 Foots) from the target. Target is situated in front of participant. Participant with own air gun with pre-defined criteria like diameter of muzzle is 1 inch. We have provided the bullet the same diameter. Air gun is operated through compressed air.
Mechanics
Mechanics is used to throw the ball and achieve the target. It is operated through air, hydraulic Oil and Spring. Participants have to come with its own mechanism. We have provide the Ball at venue. As per ball going on targeted point than the will get as per rules highest point and winner will be decided on the basis of the given target achievement.
Roller Coaster
Prepare a track for marble using ones creativity following various constraints. The team needs to form a path (i.e., Roller coaster) for marble so that the marble can elapse maximum amount of time on the roller coaster.The Marbles are passing away from different path and reach at its desire destination this team will be winner in this event
Skill Development workshop on CNC Programming
Department of mechanical engineering arranged 2 days workshop on CNC programming for diploma engineering students. In this workshop students got knowledge about all CNC coding, CNC parts working and other parameter like tool selection, insert selection, reverse engineering and Geometrical dimension & tolerance etc.
3 Days FDP on Inspection by Using CMM Conducted by FARO Tech Pvt. Ltd.
Department of mechanical engineering arranged 3-Days FDP on Inspection by using CMM Conducted by FARO Tech Pvt. Ltd. on dated 22nd to 24th August, 2016. In this FDP program 15 faculties were participated and learned the measurement and inspection of real components by using CMM and reverse engineering by using 3D scanning with CMM.
