4 Days FDP on Modelling in Solid Works
Department of mechanical engineering arranged 4-Days FDP on Modelling in Solid Works on dated 16th to 20th August, 2016. In this FDP 20 faculties of mechanical department were participated and learned different modules of solidworks software like part modelling, assembly of components, weldments, sheet metal and simulation of different mechanical components to different application.
Mega Placement Drive 2016
Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged Mega Placement Drive 2016 on dated of 13, 14 and 15th June 2016. Different regions more than 20 companies were came on our college campus and more than 350 students were participated form different 25 engineering colleges.

1st International Conference on Automation in Industries
The first international conference on automation in industries was organized at OM Engineering College dated on 5-6th april-2016 in collaboration with SSME sponsored by FARO Technology pvt. ltd., Institute of Engineers, India, khodiyar CAD center pvt. ltd., CADD Center, silver pump and motors, Tulsi industries and GCST in which 70 researcher present their research paper in front of delegates.
MACHINE ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
It is a part of Spectrom -2016 a state level mega technical event organized by OM Engineering College Junagadh. Mechanical assembly is a term that is sometimes used to describe the process of putting together components on an assembly line. The term may also be applied to an assembled product or part made in this way.
MACHINIST Event
This is a part of Spectrom -2016. It is a stage where each engineer can demonstrate their creative ideas for the solutions of problem which faced by society. A machinist is a person who uses machine tools to make or modify parts, primarily metal parts, and a process known as machining.
