TENDER & TENDERING
An expert talk was arranged on "Tender & Tendering" by Civil Engineering department of Om Institute of Engineering & Technology.Mr.Kadivar was the expert of this talk,who is a retired Deputy Executive Engineer in Road & Building department.The purpose of this talk was to guide students about lodging of tender and to clarify the tendering procedure.
INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR OPPORTUNITY
An expert talk on Infrastructure Sector Opportunity was arrranged by Civil department of OIET.Mr Kiran Pandya from Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management was the expert of this talk.He guided students about the importance and opportunities in infrastructure sector.
WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT
A watershed is simply the geographic area through which water flows across the land and drains into a common body of water, whether a stream, river, lake, or ocean. The watershed boundary will more or less follow the highest ridgeline around the stream channels and meet at the bottom or lowest point of the land where water flows out of the watershed, the mouth of the waterway.
FOUNDATION
There was held an awareness program for the Diploma students of the final year of Civil Engineering Department on various Foundation as well as scopes and opportunities for a diploma civil engineering in GEB by retired executive Mr. R M Godhani.
NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION
An expert talk on NSIC was organized by Civil department of OIET.NSIC provides financial assistance by the way of hire purchase scheme for setting up industries.The expert of the talk explained students about the role of NSIC for the development of entrepreneurship in the country.
