Smart India Hackathon - 2K17

The Smart India Hackthon 2017 will focus on finding digital solution to problems in the areas concerning: power,education, health, water, finance, agriculture, energy, urban and ruler development, aviation and shipping, transport, sanitation, sports, law and justice, skill development and entrepreneurship, defence, textiles, tourism, etc. This initiative will help in harnessing the creativity and skills among youth for nation-building.
Awareness Of Vittiya Saksharata Abhiyan (VISAKA)

By conducting this workshop students got deep knowledge on various cashless mode payment. After attending workshop student can now train own family in using cashless modes. Student have also Adopt few households and teach them digital payments.

OM Engineering Campus is doing many activities like NavaratrOM,Vyom, Sports Week, Ganesh Sthapan, Social Activities every year for betterment and all over development of the students. Likewise the management also thought for the staff from Degree, Diploma, B.Sc., OCRI, Library, Admin, Helper of Om engineering & Science campus to make them and their family enjoy and host an activity named OM College Away Day 2K16 on 27/10/2016 at Krishna Water Park, Rajkot.
Jay Ho Junagadh Mukti Yatra

Divyabhaskar Newspaper Team is celebrating Jay Ho Junagadh Mukti Mahostav from January 2016. As a part of these activities they arranged a Mukti Yatra on 15th October, 2016 as Junagadh was been independent from Foreign Rulers. Om college of Science Student has participated in this Mukti Yatra and made a float for this day. The students were instructed to make a float about the "Aarzi Hakumat" , Ratubhai Adani, Amarapur Village on tractor. Venue: Junagadh City Date: 15th October, 2016

Workshop on Classical Dance Training

A one day workshop cum training program of Classical Dance form KATHAK was held at the premises of Om Engineering College on 14th September 2016. In this workshop, more than 50 + Girl students of Degree and Diploma have actively participated in this Workshop. Ms. Archana Narayanmurthy has trained the girl students very enthusiastically and also explained them the importance of Classical Dancing and its benefit.Ms. Archana Narayanmurthy has appreciated this effort of Om Engineering College and advocated that this kind of education must be included with their academics.
Three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

Three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp has been organized @ Om Engineering College during 08 th September 2016 to 10 th September 2016 for Final Year students of Engineering, B. Pharm, M.B.A., M.C.A. and other Science and Technology Colleges of surrounding region of Junagadh. This seminar was jointly organised by Business and Accelerator Cell, OEC in accrodance with National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Developemnt Board, Dept. Of Science and Technology, Govt. Of India. The event was graced by the visit of well known dignitories. This program has become a source of inspiration who want to pursue their carrier as Entrepreneur.
Tree Plantation @ Om Campus

The tree plantation was organised on 12-08-2016 at Om Engineering College, Junagadh. More than 50 trees were planted by the students of Degree Engineering, Diploma Engineering & B. Sc Students. This tree plantation program was jointly organized with Divyabhaskar(Junagadh) Team.
