1st International Conference

It's matter of privilege and golden milestone that Om Engineering College has achieved by organizing 1st International Conference on Automation in Industries in association with Space Society of Mechanical Engineers, Ahmedabad during 5th -6th April 2016. This Conference has grabbed a notable attention of media and Engineering Institutes of Gujarat becuase of the enlightened presence of 11+ Scientists, Well Known Academic Personnel's of India, and Reputed Business Personnel's of India etc. There were 182 authors who submitted 94 papers out of which 70 were invited for presentation and these papers were selected for publication. Total 70 Research papers were presented during the conference, out of which 2 papers were from foreign delegates. Large number of researchers and participants attended the conference to interact with eminent speakers from various reputed organizations. At the end, curious question of upcoming 2 nd International Conference by attendees shows an attempt to achievement has lead to a tag of successful conference.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP

Three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was organized @ Om Engineering College during 31st March 2016 to 2nd April 2016 for Final Year students from various Engineering, B. Pharm, M.B.A., M.C.A. and other Science and Technology Colleges of surrounding region of Junagadh. This seminar was jointly organised by Business and Accelerator Cell, OEC in support Centre of Entrepreneurship Development, Govt. Of Gujarat. Mr. Parth Kotecha (Trustee , Noble Group of Institutions, Mr Vasubhai Vasoya (M.D. R.M. Engineering, Rajkot), Mr Rajubhai Patel ((M.D. Airking Industry, Rajkot) Engineering), Experts from CED Gandhinagar, Mr Mayank Mehta (Dy. Project Leader) , Krushna Katariya (Executive CED) along with Mr Prashant Kadiwar (Trustee, Om Engineering College), Mr C. N. Jasani (Director , Om Engineering College) were the dignitories have given their precious time and shared the dias for Inaugural function. Prof. Yashpal Gadhavi (Co-ordinator, Business and Accelerator Cell, OEC) had organised all the session efficiently.
Quiz Competition

On 19th March, 2016, General Knowledge Quiz Competition-2016 was held under the guidance of Shri C. N. Jasani (Director) sir and Shri Chintan Vaishnav, (Mamlatdar and Executive Megistrate, Junagadh). More than 200 studetns of Diploma and Degree Enginerring actively participated in it. Prof. H. V. Domadia (Elctrical Department had coordinated this event.
Gujarat Vidhansabha Visit

The students and faculty members of OM Engineering College,Junagadh.visit live session of Gujarat Vidhansabha on dated 14-03-2016 at 12:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.Students and faculty members have interacted with the Smt.Aanandiben Patel, Honorable Chief Ministers, Government of Gujarat.Honorable Chief Minister talked very kindly with our students and motivated our students with inspiring words.

She inspired all the listeners to enhance their inside skills and she made them understood about to be real human being not only working rob machine to print money.
Expert Talk On Interview Skills

Training and Placement Cell of OEC has invited Ms. Sneha Desai (H. R. Manager, Rajoo Engineering) to deliver a Talk on "Interview Techniques" on 27th February 2016. Mr. Mrugesh Makwana (TPO, OEC) has co-ordinated this talk with a purpose to equpp our Final Degree and Diploma students with practical techniques of Interviews as it is an opportunity to present yourself as the best qualified candidate for the job. Moreover Ms. Sneha Miss Sneha Desai has also explained the concept of interview of the company and explained the working of the industry and company for the smooth penetration of student into the company.
SpectrOM 2016

Spectrom -2016 a state level mega technical event organized by OM Engineering College Junagadh. OEC Provide a platform for technical and non technical students for shows their talent at state level. It is a stage where each engineer can demonstrate their creative ideas for the solutions of problem which faced by society. Also they can enjoy by doing some technical work. We also provide a platform for not-technical students, so that they can also participate. It's a competition for identify best output among all participation.
We visit more then 70 engineering college and 25 different non technical colleges for companying about spectrum-2016. We got tremendous response from various colleges. We
achieve more then 2000 participation of various events.
Blood Donation Camp

OM Engineering College is doing many social activities every year for social awareness & to help the social as we are a part
of the society.
As we know that blood donation can save many lives so that we arranged a Blood Donation Camp on 19 February, 2016. Every students & faculties gave their contribution as per their will.
