Celebration of Kargil Vijay Divas

A Celebration of Kargil Vijay Divas and Rich tributes were paid to the Bravehearts Martyrs of Kargil War, by the students and Faculty members of Om Engineering College. More than 400 brave- hearts sons of India have laid down their life against fighting with Pakistani Troops and to pay homage to this heroes, Om Engineering College has organized a tributary event to pray about their soul to rest in peace. On this occasion the Director, C. N. commented that "I pay homage to the brave hearts who fought for nation's safety and obeyed as well as performed their duties beyond one's expectation and honored martyred hood.
ATOMIC POWER STATION @ KAKRAPAR

Atomic power station situated at kakrapar is engaged in the most prominent field of power generation that is nuclear power generation. The plant running with the capacity of 440MW & two more plant with the capacity of 700MW each are under construction. From this visit students become familiar with the process of nuclear power generation.
Self defence Karate Training Program @ Om Engineering College.

In this expert talk Senior Engineer of Festo Didactic Division Mr Ashish Kulkarni and Mr. G Nandha Gopal deliver their talk on Hydraulics Technology, pneumatic technology and Fluidsim Pneumatics to the 200 students of final year Mechanical Engineering Department of Degree and Diploma After Attending Expert talk & Seminar students will aware with latest technologies of Oil Hydraulics and Pneumatics which is used in current industries.
Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. SIKKA Thermal Power Station

TPS (Thermal power station) situated at Sikka in the field of generation & has been incorporated with GSECL (Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd.) with total capacity of 750MW power generation. After this visit students became familiar with industrial environment and to get practical knowledge of power generation.
Panel Discussion on English

First time in Junagadh Om engineering college have organized a panel discussion on English at our college. This panel discussion was take place under the banner of Om English Club of our college. In this panel discussion all the 12 th science students (both of group A and B) and Diploma to Degree students had participated as audience. The panel discussion was thoroughly in English. It was a golden opportunity for them to meet and interact with the experts and churn some questionable issues.
1st year activity best out of waste

Om Institute of Engineering & Technology, Junagadh organized an inter college event for the Diploma sem I students of making best out of waste. As we know, engineering is ever changing and ever evolutionary branch of knowledge; we never miss a single opportunity to stage students' technical competence. All our diploma students actively participated in this event and made many items out of waste material. Through this activity, the students not only could learn but also got so much entertainment and fun. This is the right way to motivate students to learn new things and technologies in a lighter way and mood. Om Institute of Engineering & Technology will keep organizing such events which add value in their learning and career.
Boot Camp on Idea Generation & Execution

Successfully organized and accomplished a Boot Camp on Idea Generation and Execution at Om Engineering College In support of Innovation and Incubation Centre(IIC) - PDPU, Gandhinagar to familiarize the students with Basic Tectics of Being an Entrepreneur. Through Boot Camp students are made to face the situations similar to problems faced by real life entrepreneurs. This would help students to overcome mental pressure in their academic as well as professional life.
