Automation Hand on Workshop

To emphasize Skill development and use of software in designing building plan in the field of Civil Engineering, A two day workshop on BUILDING PLANNING IN AUTO CAD, has been organized during 6th -7th Feberuary, 2016. 60 + students of various Engineering College of surrounding regions had participated in this workshop. Ms. K. P. Barad from Civil Department guided the particpants different aspects of AUTOCAD such as Screen Layout, Create a New Drawing, Open a Drawing, Save a Drawing, Units, Line, Circle, Arc, Ellipse, Polygon, Rectangle, Offset, Trim, Extend, Chamfer, Fillet, Copy and Move, Object Snap, viewport, box, subtract, union, region,extrude,simple building plan and elevation of residential building.

Om Engineering College every year celebrate the 'KHEL OM' Sports week at their college campus for the Refreshment of overall environment of the college. All Students and Faculty members were participating and enjoy this week.

Ganesh Utsav

Like every festival, we also celebrate Ganotsav in our college. All the students and faculty members take active participation and we do aarti for seven days. On the last day, students and faculty members join for visarjan ceremony with procession and merriment. Celebrating festivals like this has been our tradition which will be perpetuated for years to come.

Vyom - 2015 is the cultural event of Om Engineering Campus in which students gave various kinds of stage performances including Solo and Group Dancing, Drama, Mime, Solo and Duet Singing and Nanchak.More than 80 students from Degree and Diploma gave different types of performances.The whole event actually took its move from audition monitored by the Jury members who took lot of pain and identified really talented performers for the final stage show.

Mahila Swachhta Abhiyan

The Mahila Swachhata Abhiyan is set up by Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shree Anandiben Patel. So OM Engineering College has started this initiative for women empowerment with clean India Mission.

There have been one week program that has been executed by girl students of OM Engineering College as part of Co curricular activities as well as to be independent for their decision on Cleanliness by spreading such ideas to women living in the village names Chokli as well.

DrawOm

On 30th January 2015 was celebrated as 'Gandhi Nirvan Divas' by OM Engineering college, Junagadh. As a part of this celebration, we organized a Drawing Competition. This competition was named as "DrawOm" as the combination of 'Draw' and 'Om'. Around 120 students from Degree as well as Diploma had participated in this competition.To judge the entire performance of the students we had invited Mr. Mr.Rajneekant Agravat and Mr. Devmurai from Shreyansh Arts Center, Junagadh and Dr. Sudhir Nakum from Bliss Academy Junagadh,motivating a students and distribute the prize to the winners.
