25MW Solar Power Plant By Ganges Green Energy Private Limited (GGEPL)It is located at Mervadar, Tal.-Upleta &Dist-Rajkot. By use of Solar panel, the capacity of 25MW of Solar Power Station is working.
Industrial Visit Wind Farm, Navadra
From this visit, Students got the information and practical knowledge about Power Generation through wind mill and transmission and distribution of power. Student got the knowledge about wind mill, wind turbine, generator
220KV Substation, Shapur
Students of 6th semester Electrical Engineering will get the idea of electrical power transmission and distribution. Students will also get familiar with Transformer maintenance, circuit breaker, Transformer isolator, bus bar, Protective relays, Lightening arresters, Load break switches.
Keshod Airport visit
During visit students have seen many automatic systems working at airport. Also students have seen fully automatic Diesel Generator systems which is used to back up power supply. All these systems are controlled from a single place at Air Conditioned control panel.
